My husband is crying over another girl, why is he doing that?

My husband liked a girl but never pursued her as we were engaged, now we have married. He sometimes stares at her, has tears in his eyes when she is around, he also was crying when he thought she was now going out with someone else, he still goes near her to check what she is upto, he sometimes covers his weddding ring but still keeps it on when she is around. Why is he doing this, nothing could be possible with them then why did he marry me, does he still loves me?
