Is Atenolol causing the tingling feeling in my hand?

I take Atenolol to manage Essential (Familial) Tremors and recently the base of my right hand, two fingers and some of my forearm have been feeling like their falling asleep. At first I thought I'd been leaning on my desk the wrong way but the feeling is constant rather than appearing when I'm only at my desk. Is the Atenolol causing this? If so should I talk to my doctor?
